Sharky's Cabaret - (910) 483-3520

From the outside, I expected an upscale "gentleman's club." Inside, I found worn seating and poor ventilation -- not quite as classy. It's a nice enough place, but I'd expected nicer. The beer isn't overpriced, and the dancers are friendly.

Let me start off by saying I am in no way an aficionado on rating places nor a frequenter of strip clubs I can only give you my honest opinion of what I experienced the two times I have gone. The first experience will be labeled 1) and the second 2). Also the first trip was late night from 11-close and the second was during the lunch time. 11-2 Outside impression both times was very poor. It's a white building with blue trim. The parking lot resembles the surface of the moon. The entrance was probably really nice in 1980. To give credit where credit is due I'm sure it looked good on paper. Imagine a building in down town baghdad....now paint it white and put blue trim on it. I think you got the idea. ENTRANCE 1) Even plastered I could smell the smoke. Take two cigarette butts and shove them up your nose. That is kind of getting close to the smell. Very tightly packed. Sharky's is where every man should be if you like women. They have some of the most beautiful women in the city and they give you what you paid for. The couch dances are amazing and the prices are descent for the area. The drink specials are the best in town, were talking $.25 pitchers, $1 liquor drinks or shots, $2 domestic beer. I had a great time everyone was so laid back and the whole experience was just what I needed. If you ask me if i'll go back the answer would be a definite YES.
