A Meal To Remember Reviewed by LogicallySpeaking2 on

For a town that has attracted an overabundance of chain restaurants (with similar menus), The Mash House is a welcome escape. The decor is nice - not too fancy, not too casual - for couples and business associates and friends alike. The only drawback would be their building, which is designed for great acoustics (a drawback in a dining establishment). Depending on the hour, it can feel like a noisy subway station...or not.
The food is topnotch, though. If my husband were writing this he would give the home brews an A+. We also love the oven roasted artichoke and spinach dip, and I'm a particular fan of their salads. I am a vegetarian, and it's one of the few places I can find quality food at a reasonable price. I'd have to disagree with another reviewer who called it inexpensive, though. Your typical entree will cost $10-$60, so it might not be a place to bring the whole family unless you're in a generous mood. At the Mash House you get what you pay for, which is an amazing meal that is always worth the wait....and for those of us who value quality, as well, it's sure worth the price.
Pros: Excellent food, Nice ambiance, Great variety
Cons: Noisy when crowded, Wait time on the weekends

This is THE place to go in Fayetteville. It was the first restaurant we visited after moving here, and it's the place we always take out of town guests!. The food is excellent, the beer is top notch and the wait staff is always friendly, yet professional. I honestly can't think of any negatives.
Pros: Great variety, wonderful service.
Cons: Can't go every night.

the food is all made from scratch and very innovative. It is a restaurant I would expect to find in Chicago, NYC or even Raleigh... what a treat for fayetteville! I highly reccomend going to the Mash House-- if not just for the awesome locally brewed beers and wonderful martinis but also for the delicious wood fired grilled food! MMMMMM.... its inexpensive and a great value!!
