I spent some formative years here back in the 80's when I lived in Hope Mills and went back a couple of years ago. The original owners are gone (great people) but teh place looks the same. If you are an avid swimmer and love swings and waterslides, this is the place for you. Not to mention diving boards, slides, and the like. A good picnic area, kids areas, videogames and a cafeteria make it a good family destination as well. I can't believe I used to do gainers off the high dive!

This was the worst lake I've ever been to...the water was brown and smelled like feces. I can't believe I got in that water. I went in with a brand new white bathing suit and came out with a brown one.

Fantasy Lake is great, and the only water park in the area! The prices are reasonable if you plan to spend the entire day. There are several different areas to swim and play for different swim levels. You can bring in your own food and drinks in plastic containers.
PROS: baby and toddler friendly
