Hidden of the main roads is this great museum. You can walk across a walkway and get a tour of the old arsenal that was destroyed during the Civil War. There is a monthly toddler activity that is top notch. Heidi does a great job teaching the children about the museum.

Museum of the Cape Fear is located on Arsenal Avenue. It is a great way to spend a couple of hours educating yourself or your children about our city's past. They are open daily except for Monday and occasionally offer some hands on activities. I recommend visiting this museum if you want to know a little more about our Fayetteville's history.
